Awards Banquet Details

Visit Detroit hosts the annual Recognition of Service Excellence Awards (ROSE) program as a way to honor line level employees for the extraordinary service they provide over and above what is expected of them every day. This program recognizes outstanding customer service throughout the metro Detroit area (Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties).

The ROSE Awards Ceremony & Reception will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025 (evening) at the MotorCity Casino Hotel – Sound Board in Detroit, Michigan. Event registration is required but this is not a ticketed event. Upon arrival to the event, simply check in with your name to receive your name badge.

Program

  • 5:30 p.m.            Doors open - Registration & Reception
  • 6:00 p.m.            Dinner is served
  • 6:20 p.m.            Champagne Toast for all attendees
  • 7:00 p.m.            ROSE Awards Ceremony
  • 9:00 p.m.            Afterglow

Cost to Attend

Complimentary attendance will be extended to each approved nominee and a guest. Additional guests are invited to attend in support of each nominee; $60 per person. Attendees must be 18 years old or older.

To help capture and share your favorite moments, Visit Detroit will be launching a special Instagram “Add Yours” Story template the evening of the ROSE Awards.

Here’s how it works:

1.    Type @visitdetroit on Instagram the evening of the event.

2.    Look for the ROSE Awards “Add Yours” Story template starting at 6pm.

3.    Tap “Add Yours” to join in and share your photos and videos from the event.

The template will be live for 24 hours and we can’t wait to see your highlights from this incredible evening!
