More than 20 years ago, Visit Detroit began a celebration of our hospitality industry’s workforce with the Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Award. This award recognizes the individuals whose efforts make our region a great place to work, stay and play.
We’re proud to honor the hospitality industry because it embodies metro Detroit’s values of reinvention, ambition, and hard work. Their success is our region’s – bringing in over 19 million visitors and $6.6 billion every year.
The William F. McLaughlin Hospitality Award for Service Excellence celebrates best practices and innovation in customer service. This award is given to a Visit Detroit member/partner for outstanding accomplishments in customer service. The nominating company should demonstrate a history of accolades for outstanding achievement in delivering customer service excellence in the hospitality industry.
With customer service expectations continually rising, the hospitality industry is aware of the value and role that customer service plays in achieving business success.
